Happy Thursday! Who's ready for some photo overload?! I think I have like 30 images in here as opposed to my usual 8-10. Whoops! I couldn't bare to leave any of them out, so please excuse me as this is basically my daily journal from our time in Bellagio.

If you're still here, welcome! We finally got to sleep in and have breakfast at home today. Andrew made some delicious eggs and then we found ourselves walking into town. We got a little lost but eventually found our way to the water, sweaty and all. Safe to say we won't be walking up any time soon.
When we got into town, we took the ferry to Bellagio (about a 10-minute ride every 30 minutes), hopped off and immediately started exploring. We shopped around, climbed a good handful of steps and made our way into a little cafe where we had some pizza and melon + prosciutto and I topped it off with an Aperol Spritz (which taste even better here)! Everything was, of course, delicious.
After lunch we strolled around town and walked along the water until we hit Villa Melzi. This is where the beautiful photos of me on that balcony were taken. The place was so breathtaking I cannot believe someone actually lived there back in the day! How regal!
It was a good day to wear a skirt and a light top because it was a hot one! The sun was out and in your face no matter which way you looked. P.S. this is the skirt I've been telling you all about. Isn't it the cutest?! After we finished wandering, we made our way back to Varenna on the ferry, walked around some more and then headed to dinner.
Dinner doesn't start or open until 6:30 so we hung around the area and ended up getting dinner at Il Cavatappi. There's a reason it's ranked #1 in the city. Everything was so delicious and it was like I was tasting some of these foods for the first time (aka the burrata). We sat outside in the alley and it was so picturesque that I swore it could have been fake!
