How to Style Leather Leggings for An Office Party
How to Style Leather Leggings for An Office Party
Tuesday, November 28, 2017
I wanted to share another holiday appropriate look for work, or really anywhere you need to be a little casual but dressy. One of my favorite things to wear around the holidays are leather leggings. They're warmer than jeans but they abide by the "business casual" (aka no jeans) attire.
Of course the more formal of formal offices won't allow leggings. But this is for the girls who work in offices like mine where it's semi-casual to casual and even more on the trendy side (think PR agencies and startups). The key to wearing leather leggings (or any leggings) is to have a longer top that covers up some of your butt. I feel like once you have that, you're good.
I personally wanted to go with the all-black look with a pop of red (for the holidays). Girls get dressed up at our holiday party, but when I'm planning my outfit I want to make sure it's also something that wouldn't be absurd to wear in the office. I want something that blends in with the crowd.
What's better than all black?
I LOVE this peplum top (it's only $55!) and the little polka dots on it are velvet! The sheer and layered look gives it a little more dimension that makes it stand out. Lastly, I live and breathe by this blazer (that is long sold out) but I did find a really great dupe/second option HERE!
Hope everyone is recovering from the past week of sales. I know I am! I don't want to buy another thing *she says as she orders something else on Amazon*
